How do I Submit my Manuscript?

Your manuscript can be submitted 2 ways. You can submit it by email, or you can mail it in to us by regular mail. Your manuscript must be mailed in a digital format. Submit it on a CD, flash drive or floppy disk. No hand written manuscript will be accepted. Please submit your work in a Word format. If you submit it in a Word Perfect or Works format, it will be converted to Microsoft Word so that we can work with it.

 

Can I Cancel my Contract with DGR?

Normally, your contract with us can be cancel at anytime unless we received your work as a special free promotion. Authors who win free publishing contracts must sign a (1) year contract with us. Regular customers may cancel at anytime by giving us a 30 days notice.

 

Is DGR a Traditional Publishing Company?

That depends on what you mean by traditional publishing company. We are traditional in the sense that we take manuscripts and turn them into published books. If being traditional means offset printing, we do both, offset and digital. If being traditional means do we give author's advance payments, we do not give advance payments. We are here for the new authors who are trying to break into the publishing world. What better way to test the waters than to self publish your book. We are a paid publishing company. We are paid by the author to publish their books.

 

Does This Publishing Company publish fictional books

Yes we do. We publish fictions but it must be a Christian fiction. DGR Publishing is a Christian Books Publishing Service. We publish only Christian books and manuals.

 

Is Self Publishing worth the effort?

Many self published Authors have been successful in their publishing. T.D. Jakes self published "Woman thou are loose" Many self publishing books have climbed the charts and sold many copies. Your success will depend on you. Writing the book and having it set in the corner isn't worth the effort it took to write it. Self Publish your book and trust God to anoint it and push it through the markets.

 

Do I receive discount when purchasing my own books?

Print on Demand books are sold to the Author at a discount of 40% - 75% depending on the number of copies ordered. A larger order will result in a bigger percentage discount. Offset printing has an even greater discount. You must order at least 2000 copies to get the offset price. Email us to get a quote for your offset printing.
